Samsung has just released the Galaxy M33 5G, which is the successor to the Galaxy M32 5G from last year. The display, the faster SoC, the larger battery, and the faster-charging capabilities are just a few of the improvements, and the price has also moved up. These are our initial thoughts after having the opportunity to test out the smartphone.

  • Guide to Getting Started and Warranty Information
  • Samsung has recently begun removing chargers from even its mid-range phones, so this one does not come with one.
  • The characteristics of the Samsung Galaxy M33 5G

In comparison to the predecessor’s HD+ screen, the M33 5G boasts a 6.6-inch Full HD+ Infinity-V Super LCD screen with a 120Hz refresh rate. The screen is bright even outside, with a brightness of up to 800 nits. The Samsung Galaxy M33 5G features a 128GB storage capacity and is powered by the latest Exynos 1280 5nm SoC. It has 6GB/6GB of LPDDR4x RAM and up to 8GB of additional virtual RAM via the RAM Plus function. When it comes to gaming, the performance is adequate for everyday use but falls short of the Snapdragon 778G found in the Galaxy M52 5G.

It is compatible with 5G bands. The phone is powered by Android 12 with the One UI 4 skin on top. Samsung has promised two OS updates and four years of security fixes for the phone. Samsung Pay with NFC, Knox Security, and Secure Folder are also included.

An 8-megapixel camera with an f/2.2 aperture is housed within the V-shaped notch. On the upper edge is the earpiece grill. The phone features a proximity sensor but lacks an ambient light sensor, so it uses the front camera for auto brightness adjustment. Below the screen, there is a small chin.

The power button, which also serves as a fingerprint sensor, and the volume rockers are found on the right side of the device. The dedicated dual-SIM + microSD slot is located on the left side. The 3.5mm audio jack, primary microphone, USB Type-C connector, and the loudspeaker grill are all situated on the bottom. The secondary microphone is located on the top of the device.

Because the sides have a shiny surface and a plastic frame, they are likely to attract fingerprints. It has Dolby Atmos, despite the lack of stereo speakers. However, it only works when you connect wired or wireless earphones.

A 50-megapixel main camera, a 5-megapixel ultra-wide camera, a 2-megapixel depth camera, and a 2-megapixel macro camera make up the phone’s quad-camera setup. The rear camera can record in 4K at 30 frames per second, while the front camera can only record in FHD at 30 frames per second.

  • Pricing and availability of the Samsung Galaxy M33 5G in India

The base 6GB + 128GB storage model of the Samsung Galaxy M33 5G costs Rs. 18,999 in India. The phone is also available in an 8GB + 128GB storage option for Rs. 20,499. Samsung, on the other hand, is providing both versions for Rs. 17,999 and Rs. 19,999, respectively, as introductory pricing. “There’s no way of knowing how long the trial will last.” “Android 12 is the operating system, with the One UI 4 skin on top.” The Samsung Galaxy M33 5G will be available for purchase on Amazon and Samsung India’s online shop starting April 8 in two color options: green and blue.

Customers who use ICICI Bank cards can get up to Rs. 2,000 in instant cashback when they buy the Samsung Galaxy M33 5G. “There will also be no-cost EMI choices and exchange incentives available for the phone.”
